Worship Rituals, Precautions, And Remedies Associated With Bajrang Baan

bajrang baan

Bajrang Baan is a tantric hymn and not a general hymn. A general hymn is a praise of a particular deity. But when it comes to Bajrang Baan, the seeker through his hymns, forces Hanuman by pledging on Shri Ram and prays to him for solving his problems. So even if Hanuman does not find it a worthy request, he is forced to arrive into the scenario to help the seeker. So according to some learned opinions, Bajrang Baan shouldn't be chanted on a daily basis. The worship becomes tantric when we force God to do something beyond what he has willed for that situation.

Method Of Worship

Tuesday is the day of Lord Rudra and Lord Hanuman. Take bath on a Tuesday morning, offer arghya to the Sun and worship Ganesha first and then Hanuman. After that perform shodashopahara worship with red flowers, and recite Hanuman Chalisa. On this day, recite Bajrang Baan so that Hanuman is pleased and fulfils your wish. Lastly meditate on Lord Rama and Goddess Sita. Take the pledge to recite the Baan. Sit on a kushasan, and recite. Once it is done, sing the kirtan of Lord Rama. Offer Churma laddu, and other seasonal fruits to Hanuman.

Bajrang Baan should be commenced with a Sankalp with your Guru's instructions. More importantly Lord Hanuman should be invoked through Bajrang Baan only if it is a life and death question for you, and the beej mantras in the Baan are so powerful that they can overwhelm you. Also for the fear of misuse, some tantric slokas from Bajrang baan have been removed before they were made available to us, as these slokas can be misused to wreak havoc on others' lives as well.

There are two most important hymns in the baan which people recite and they are enough to fulfil your wishes. While Hanuman Chalisa is a request to God to fulfil your wishes, Baan is forcing him to help you out. This is how a tantric hymn is different from the sattvic hymn. Chalisa is a set of mahamantras which fulfil our every need.
