One of the dasha mahavidyas, Godddess Matangi, is a fierce form of Goddess Durga and tantric form of Goddess Saraswati If she is really pleased with your worship, she can grant supernatural powers., the power of attraction, mastery over arts and bkesses the devotee with spiritual knowledge.

She also governs knowledge, speech music and arts. Devotees worship her for success in professions along the lines of arts, music and creativity. Matangi Devi Temples

1) Belgaum: Matangi Mata temple is situated in Belgaum, the district headquartes of Karnataka, in the exact location of Tilakwadi. Located 14 km away from Belgaum Railway Station, it is about 102 km away from Hubli.
2) Madanapalle: Located in Chittoor of Andhra Pradesh, the Matangi temple is in the Nuthi Radhakrishnaiah Nagar and just beside the busstand of Madanapalle which is again 113kms from Tirupati.
3) Nangur: You can find this temple for Matangi near Sirkazhi in Nagapatnam district of Tamil Nadu. It is located exactly near Kudamadu kuthar temple. Nangnur is at a distance of 10 km from Sirkazhi.
4) Jhabua: A town in Madhya Pradesh, it has a Mathangi darshan temple near Krishi Vignan kendra which is 2.5 km away from Jhabua bustand. Jhabua is around 150 km from Indore.
