Durga Puja is about to arrive and it is a very important festival for the people belonging to the Bengali Hindu community. Goddess Durga is also known as Adi Shakti or Devi and according to a legend, she was created by the Trinity ( Lord Brahma Lord Shiva, and Lord Vishnu) and other gods, to slay Mahishasura, a Buffalo demon.

Palanquin

Palki

Doli,

it
is
usually
associated

but

vehicle

Goddess
Durga

a
pandemic.

Elephant
(Haathi)
The
elephant
symbolizes
peace
and
wealth.
If
Goddess
Durga
arrives
on
an
elephant,
it
signifies
good
harvest
and
prosperity.

Horse
(Ashva)
The
Horse
is
associated
with
force
and
speed
but,
if
Goddess
Durga
arrives
on
this
vehicle
then
it
can
mean
war
or
destruction.
Therefore,
it
is
considered
inauspicious.
6.
Boat
(Naav)
Boat
is
associated
with
water
which
means
life.
Therefore,
if
Goddess
Durga
rides
on
a
boat,
then
it
is
associated
with
the
flood
as
well
as
a
good
harvest.
Durga Puja 2023: Vehicle Of Goddess Durga This Year
Durga Puja will be celebrated from 20 October-24 October. In 2023, Goddess Durga will arrive and depart in horse this year and it will mean war and dispute. This is considered inauspicious.
