Whenever the devotees express to her, their wishes, by worshipping her, they tie new slippers to a tree and leave the area. The vows are sure to be fulfilled and then then to express their gratitude, they visit this temple again and offer one more garland of new slippers to the goddess.
This is not to disrespect Devi. But it is a devout practice where these chappals are offered for the Goddess to walk out of the temple comfortably at night, and solve their problems.
Navadurga Shakti Mandir: The second temple of Navdurga Shakti Mandir, located in Khurja tehsil of Bulandshahr of Uttar Pradesh. It is believed that she fulfils all the wishes of the devotees if they do 108 pradakshinas around the temple.
There is a pillar inside the premises of the temple which is also known as manokamana pillar. If a knot is tied to this pillar after completing the 108 pradakshinas, every desire on your mind is realised.
Goddess Bhagavathi can be seen in nine forms of motherhood in this temple. The temple is made of ashtadhatu, weighs four tons, and is composed of Ashta Dhatu.
Having 27 sections of ashta dhatu material, and 18 arms, it is classified as one of the most beautiful idols of Durga. About 14 feet in height and 11 feet in width, It is built on a land whose extent is about two thousand square feet.
Devi is flanked by Hanuman on the right and a statue of Bhairava on the left. Lord Shiva is seated on the top of the chariot with Lord Ganesha seated as a charioteer.. More than 100 sculptors have worked together day and night to create this wonderful idol.
'Maa Bahrare Wali Mata' temple: This temple is located on the top of the hills in a junble near Muraina and it is unquestionably mysterious as the idol of Durga grows in size during the nine Navratri days.
On the Navami day, the idol is brought out of the sanctum. She was Pandavas Kuldevi who was very pleased with their worship but got absorbed in a rock when Arjuna failed to keep his words that he had given to her.
There is a magical kund or tank near this temple whose water never dries up. Consuming the teerth of this Kund, the sins and faults of the devotees will be forgiven and the wishes will also be fulfilled.
Pashana Devi TempleL This temple at Nainital, is a temple where you can see the nine forms of the Goddess together. They are in the form of nine pindis that represent her nine forms.
