Whom Should You Marry?

Marriage is a universal aspect that functions as the base to human social life. But when it comes to marriage and partner selection most people are confuted and perplexed. They frequently ask this question to themselves that whom should they marry? Who would be the ideal partner for them?
The
qualities
one
would
be
looking
for
in
a
potential
spouse
will
vary
greatly
depending
on
every
individual
and
their
personal
priorities
and
preferences.
If
you
prefer
a
partner
who
belongs
to
an
alien
category,
you
will
end
up
with
irreparable
crashes
in
life.
It
is
almost
certain
that
the
drastically
clashing
lifestyles
will
cause
much
friction
in
the
course
of
a
long
term
relationship.
While
strong
physical
attraction
may
temporarily
cause
these
differences
to
seem
'cute',
in
the
long
run
the
cuteness
wears
off
and
the
stark
differences
emerge
as
major
obstacles
to
marital
harmony.
Romance
is
fun
and
love
is
great,
with
marriage
being
the
ultimate
destination.
If
you
select
a
wrong
partner,
divorce
may
seem
the
ultimate
destination.
Romantic
feelings
are
intoxicating
and
like
most
of
the
intoxicated
persons,
lovers
many
times
may
not
understand
what
they
are
doing.
It
all
looks
like
a
fairy
tale,
but
unfortunately
the
dream
of
a
great
married
life
remains
a
dream
and
is
never
realized.
Thus
even
if
you
find
your
partner
through
a
romantic
relationship,
be
prudent
enough
to
take
the
final
decision.
A marriage is a life, which two persons live together to give joy to each other and create a family that contributes positively to others. If your partner fits into your total scheme of great living together, where he or she may be the first person you will see in the morning, you can go ahead, otherwise try to know more and search for better alternatives.
Don't marry a person who 'will be', but marry a person 'who is'. The selection of a spouse must be based on who the person is at the present and not on the person's potential or the person you envision him/her becoming in the future. There may be the possibility that he/she will tap into their potential and bring it. But if at this point your potential mate is not exhibiting those signs, it is not fair to either one of you to marry the person who will be when you are not happy with the person who is.
No one is perfect. A person who meets all the major criteria and most of your minor preferences is someone you should seriously consider. An individual can be perfect on paper, kind, sweet, pious, and of impeccable integrity, but in real life do not expect for a perfect person. Always prefer a mate with whom you feel a mutual attraction.
