Recently there was a case of a couple who got divorced on Facebook. Similar incidences keep happening everyday. People spy on their spouses or have fake girlfriends to maintain their Facebook relationship status. When we get to hear of these incidences, you laugh a little and move on. But are you really immune from relationship status effect. Does your relationship status on Facebook haunt you?

Breakup:
He
ignores

on
Facebook.
We
often
forget
that
social
media
has
created
a
web
of
virtual
world
around
us.
And
we
start
living
in
that
unreal
world.

if

does
not
send

hugs
and
kisses
on

Does

ignore

real
life

She

tag

Nowadays,
young
people

online.

announced

engagement
to

close
friends
and
family.
Now

have

announce
a
change
in
relationship
status
to
the
whole
world
on
Facebook.

actually
have
debates
on
when
to
check
the
'engaged'
box.

Of
Marriage:
We
have
already
announced
it
on
Facebook!
Many
engagements
do
not
turn
in
marriages.
Some
engagements
are
unfortunately
broken
off.
That
is
why,
the
news
of
an
engagement
was
usually
kept
under
the
wraps
until
recently.
But
privacy
is
not
an
option
these
days.
Couples
are
actually
scared
to
break
off
their
engagement
because
of
the
public
outcry
on
Facebook.
As
soon
as
they
change
their
relationship
status
from
'engaged'
to
'single'
again,
there
might
be
a
hundred
'likes'
and
a
million
uncomfortable
questions.

Divorce:
He/She
did
not
change
his
relationship
status
to
'married'.
This
is
an
actual
incident;
a
woman
divorced
her
husband
because
he
had
not
changed
his
Facebook
relationship
even
after
1
month
of
marriage.
The
wife
felt
humiliated
and
doubted
that
her
husband
did
not
want
his
female
friends
to
know
that
he
was
married!
Our fixation with Facebook can actually ruin our relationships. It is breaking up marriages and causing a lot of stress for youngsters.
