Cupid Came As A Scooty Named Miel

Yes, I always dreamt of adventurous romance in my teenage days. That may be the reason the Cupid had turned out to be a naughty scooty on that particular day and played one of his funniest tricks on us.
My bride viewing was done in a formal ambience and it was time for us to date before coming to the final decision. It was our first date and we decided to meet near 100ft Road at Indira Nagar, Bangalore. Since we decided to meet all by ourselves without the watchful eyes of our families, I had to depend all on my little scooty. I had named my scooty as 'Miel', meaning 'soft breeze'.
Before the story progresses, let me confess a truth. I was a violator of traffic rules at that time and didn't hold a driving license. On the top of that Miel's handle break was broken, which I never bothered to repair at all.
Now, I parked my scooty in front of Cafe Coffee Day at 100 ft Road and walked upto the Parika Restaurant, where he was waiting for me. We spent almost one hour in the restaurant and mostly devoted our time for enjoying the food. Though it was supposed to be a dating, we could not find many topics to discuss with and we were in our own worlds.
After this dating, I strongly felt that the chemistry lack between us. In the later days he also confessed that he also felt the same. We waved a bye thinking that this is going to be the end of our proposal. I reached the spot where my scooty was parked! Now, what I see? Miel is missing from the spot!
I was at a loss. This area in Bangalore is almost new to me and where can I found my Miel? After a brief enquiry one of the footpath seller informed that Bangalore traffic police has taken some of the two wheelers, without handle breaks, parked there. Ha, I came to know where my Miel has gone! Now the problem is that how will I go and relieve Miel from the Police station without a license. I know only one person who can come at my aid so fast in that area. Tring, tring… my call to him rings!
He reached the spot soon after my call. We searched two police staions in the area and found Miel in a third one. Of course I had to pay 300 Rs/- as fine for parking my vehicle without a handle break. Now, I opened my purse and found that there is only 200 Rs/- left in that. I had to borrow 100/- from him to relieve Miel.
This incident almost eased the uneasiness between us. Thus police station became the ideal spot for our first date and Miel stood between as the naughty Cupid. Only one thing that my husband demanded before my marriage is to take a license to ride Miel!
