Pizza Base is the most required part of making the whole pizza. What is the need to buy a pizza base from outside when we can easily make one at home. The pizza base is prepared by kneading the maida mixture with other ingredients.
Pizza base is allowed it to rest for 2-3 hours and then kneaded into a base. The method of kneading the dough is considered significant here. The texture of the dough or base depends on the way it is kneaded.

Maida - 3 cups (360 g) + for dusting
Water - 1 cup (warm)
Dry active yeast - 2 tbsp
Sugar - 1/4th tsp
Salt - 1/4th tbsp
Olive oil - 2 tbsp + for greasing

1. Add warm water in a large bowl.
2. Add quarter tablespoon of sugar and mix well.
3. Add 2 tablespoons of dry yeast and mix well.
4. Cover the bowl with a plate.
5. Allow it to rest for 10 minutes, until the solution becomes frothy and forms bubbles.
6. Once done, open the plate and add 1 cup of maida to it.
7. Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 teaspoon of salt. Mix well.
8. Then, add another cup of maida and mix it well.
9. Add the last cup of maida and mix again.
10. Further, add warm water little by little and start mixing it.
11. Then, use your hands to knead it for 2 minutes and keep it aside.
12. Now, sprinkle some flour on the surface (or on a board).
13. Transfer the unfinished kneaded dough onto the surface.
14. Divide the dough into 2 equal parts, as it will be easy to attain the smooth consistency.
15. Take one and start to knead it with your hands.
16. Repeat the same for the other half of the dough.
17. Once done, combine the two separated dough balls.
18. Further, knead it again for 8 to 10 minutes by pressing it down and outward.
19. Transfer it into a large bowl and brush it with olive oil.
20. Cover the bowl with a cloth and let it rest for 2 hours.
21. Once the dough has rested, remove the cloth and knead it once more.
22. Then, transfer it onto the flour-dusted surface.
23. Divide the dough into equal parts.
24. Take one and roll it into a round shape.
25. Place it on the greased pan and fix its rim to the edges of the pan.
26. Further, toppings can be added and baked in the oven.

STEP BY STEP - HOW TO MAKE PIZZA BASE
