Chicken Bolognese Recipe | Pasta With Chicken Bolognese Sauce Recipe
Chicken bolognese is a special type of pasta sauce that is prepared in the Italian cuisine that is full of proteins. Here is the recipe to prepare a quick pasta with chicken bolognese sauce.
Full of protein and fibres chicken bolognese is a winner at any dinner table. Bolognese is basically a special pasta sauce which originated in Bologna in Italy. Good thing about having a versatile recipe like this in your recipe diary is that you can knock up a delicious and healthy pasta dish with everyday ingredients anytime you want. You can add any kind of meat you like or for veggie lovers they can add any kind of veggies of their choice and you are good to go.

Pasta - 200 g
Onion chopped - 1
Garlic chopped - 1 tsp
Chicken mince - 200 g
Chopped tomatoes - 2
Tabasco sauce - 1tsp
Fennel seeds - ½ tsp
Chilli flakes - ½ tsp
Dried oregano - ½ tsp
Grated parmesan or cheddar cheese - 1 tbsp
Olive oil - 1 tsp
Salt and pepper to taste

- Boil the pasta in salted boiling water till it is cooked al dante.
- Now drain the pasta and wash it with cold water so that it does not cook further in the steam.
- Reserve half cup of pasta water to add it later to the dish since it has starch in it which makes the pasta sauce thick.
- Now heat oil in a pan and sauté the onions till it turns pink.
- Add garlic, fennel seeds, chilli flakes in the pan and again sauté for two more minutes.
- Now add chicken mince, season properly with the required spices and sauté till the chicken gets cooked properly.
- Now add canned tomatoes, some pasta water and cook it for 3-4 minutes. Basically you need to reduce the water.
- Now top your lipsmacking dish with dried oregano, tabasco sauce and olive oil and mix it properly.
- Adjust the seasoning and toss your pasta.
- Serve it hot and top it with some grated parmesan to add the flavour.
- 1. Al dante means the pasta is cooked properly but is firm to bite.
- 2. Adding parmesan cheese is optional. It depends on how many calories you want to take in but if you don’t compromise on the taste you may add some.
