Canapes chaat is a quick and easy chaat recipe that can be prepared at home. Here is a video recipe followed by a detailed step-by-step procedure along with images.
Canapes chaat is a unique recipe that has a simple yet attractive style of preparing the chaat. This chaat recipe is prepared by simply making a masala with boiled potato, coriander and tamarind chutneys, onions and other spices. It is then placed on canapes while serving.
The canapes chaat is known for its eye-appealing presentation and is a definite crowd puller. Children generally love this snack. It is quick and easy to prepare and is a great recipe to prepare for potlucks or parties. The chaat basket is attractive and might disappear in a few minutes, once it is served.
Canapes chaat has a mouth-watering combination of the coriander chutney and tamarind or amchur chutney with potatoes and onions and spices added to it. The sev or bhujia sprinkled on top gives a good crunch to the snack.

CANAPES CHAAT VIDEO RECIPE

Potato - 1
Water - 1 cup
Onions (finely chopped) - ½ cup
Coriander chutney - 1 tbsp
Tamarind chutney - 1 tbsp
Green chilli (finely chopped) - ½ tsp
Chaat masala - 1½ tsp
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves (finely chopped) - 1 tbsp
Canapes - 9-10 pieces
Bhujia (sev) - for garnishing

1. Add the potato to a pressure cooker.
2. Add water and pressure cook it for up to 2 whistles.
3. Allow the pressure in the cooker to settle.
4. Open the lid and peel the skin off the boiled potato.
5. Cut it into cubes.
6. Add the boiled potato cubes into a bowl.
7. Add the chopped onions on it.
8. Add the coriander and tamarind chutneys.
9. Add green chillies and chaat masala.
10. Then, add salt and chopped coriander leaves.
11. Mix well.
12. Take the canapes on to a plate.
13. Add a spoonful of the masala on each canape, just before serving.
14. Sprinkle the bhujia as garnish on top.

- 2. You can also add boiled chana or kala chana to the masala.

STEP BY STEP - HOW TO MAKE CANAPES CHAAT
