Smokers Beware! Your Child May Be Prone To Asthma

By Staff

Rick just got rejected by his girl friend's dad. Why? Uncle thinks it won't be safe for his daughter to be married to a person who smokes like a chimney.. Rick has been smoking for years now, and he finds it impossible to get rid of the habit. But poor Rick, guess, it's high time for him to be out of the habit. And it's not just his wife who can be in a problem, but also his seven-year-old child.

According to a new study it's been proven that exposure to environmental tobacco smoke (E.T.S.) can worsen asthmatic symptoms in kids. Researchers from the University of Alabama carried out a survey where 240 children were asked about what triggered asthma the most. It was apparently found that kids whose E.T.S. exposure decreased reported fewer hospitalizations, nay, 48 per cent less likely to experience an episode of poor asthma control.
