British teenage girls are more concerned about how they look than getting decent grades in their exams. Most of the girls between 9 – 15 years of age, believed that it was not high scores but good looks that would take them further in life.

Many say that they feel pressured to look as good as the celebrities like Katie Price and Coleen Rooney.

However one in every four boys feel the same way. Most of them want to score high and excel academically so they can go on to have a successful career.

Girls spend double the amount of time to get ready for school each day. They spend a minimum of 25 minutes compared to boys who spend just 13 minutes.

Both girls and boys worry about their hair and facial spots. Most of the teenagers today, worry about their spotty skin, they want to fit in and look good for their friends.
