Parents' Love To Hamper A Child's Life!

In this modern society, we listen to many youngsters lamenting. “Only if, my parents had corrected me properly than pampering, I wouldn"t have committed this mistake." Do your children also fall into this category? Is your love hampering, your child"s life?
As any human being steps in through the gifted door of parenthood, their life takes a dramatizing change. Your love towards your child is pure, sacrificial and your orientation of life shifts to a selfless realm, as you devote themselves to the service of their newborn baby. Despite this have you ever considered the fact that your love can hamper your child"s life at a time?
Many parents foster the wrong notion that their love towards the child is incomplete if, they could not fulfill each and every desire of their child. Did your parents foster you in the same manner? If you are in respectable situation, I can guarantee that your parents have not satisfied all your desires in the childhood. They have provided you a comfortable ambience and encouraged you to achieve some goals with your caliber. If you are denying that opportunity to your child due to sheer love, you are in fact prohibiting your child from discovering his/her true self.
Parents in the modern society have a feeling that their children must stood one step ahead of others in the race. They cannot tolerate their child failing at a small instance. They may boast the caliber of their children in public to express their love in the children. This over expectation of parents, oppress their children at many moments and they are pressurized to attain goals above their capacity. Many teenagers slip into depression, drugs and other dilemmatic situations at this stage.
Your love towards your children may be more than that of your love towards own self. However consider that, do you expect a person to relive your lost dreams in your children? If so, you must admit that your love is faltering and hampering your child"s life. You are not fulfilling a dutiful parents" role as love blinds your reasoning eyes.
You can pamper your child to the heart"s content at any time. However, be prompt to point out their mistakes and help them to overcome those mistakes in a correct way. A genuine amount of violence is suggestible at apt situations. Encourage them to admit their mistakes and to build up a honest self.
As you realize that your child is failing at some instance, it is the time to be at his/her side. Convince them that everyone cannot be successful at everything and failure is always a stepping-stone to the success. Sympathize with your child and never let your sympathy engulf your child to sit back and relax.
Your love must be a double-sided coin. You cannot display both sides to your child at the same time. Always hide half of your love and instead display the strict aspect of a parent to your child. Your child will realize the true value of the coin as he/she grows upto a rightful citizen. They will also have a role model to acquire as they pass the threshold of parenthood.
