Dhurandhar Box Office Day 16: Ranveer’s Film Beats Jawan & Stree 2; Becomes Fastest Hindi Film To Cross 500Cr

Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Day 16: National Award winning filmmaker Aditya Dhar has all the reasons to be on cloud nine. After all, his return to direction after six years with Dhurandhar has managed to set the box office on fire. Yes! Dhurandhar, which has been an espionage action thriller and one of the most anticipated releases of the year, has emerged as one of the highest grossers of 2025. To note, Dhurandhar features Ranveer Singh, Sara Arjun, Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan and Rakesh Bedi in the lead. Released on December 5, Dhurandhar recorded the highest opening for both Ranveer and Aditya.

To note, Dhurandhar marks Ranveer's first collaboration with Aditya and Akshaye and the movie has undoubtedly opened to rave reviews from the audience and critics. Interestingly, Dhurandhar has turned 2025 into a golden year for Akshaye Khanna. The actor, who was last seen in Chhaava earlier this year and got his highest grosser, is now creating waves as Rehman Dakait. And now that Dhurandhar is in the third week, it seems to be unstoppable and is scripting history with everyday at the box office

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Dhurandhar saw a hike of 48.89% in the collection and minted Rs 33.5cr on day 16 (third Saturday). This took the overall collection of the movie to Rs 516.5cr after 16 days of release

Dhurandhar Beats Jawan and Stree 2 Records

Interestingly, with a total collection of Rs 516.5cr in 16 days, Dhurandhar has managed to become the fastest Hindi film to cross Rs 500cr in India. The movie has surpassed the record of Jawan and Stree 2 which achieved the milestone in 18 and 22 days respectively.

Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Day 17 Prediction

Given the fact that it is a weekend and there is no new release to give a fight at the box office, Dhurandhar is expected to see another hike in numbers and is likely to mint Rs 40cr today (day 17/ third Sunday). As a result, Dhurandhar is expected to cross Rs 550cr after the third weekend at the box office.

Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone has been all proud of her husband's recent release. Hailing Ranveer and the team, Deepika wrote, "Dhurandhar has been watched, and it is worth every minute of those 3.34 hours. So do yourself a favour and get to a cinema hall NOW!
