Hima, with her expertise in customer relations, successfully runs the popular Palaaram Restaurant & Hampers Kochi, an online customised gift shop in Kerala. Sanjana, was into luxury brand management and hospitality, later transforming her ancestral home into a thriving business space (Solemar Cafe) with the two ladies alongside her brand, Azurovy. And, Nima enjoyed a successful modeling career before stepping into entrepreneurship.

The name 'Solemar' finds its roots in Latin, where 'sol' means sun and 'mar' means sea-together symbolizing warmth, serenity, and endless possibilities. "Our vision was born out of a shared passion for good food, great company, and creating a welcoming space for our community," Nima explains. The cafe is an embodiment of that dream, bringing people together over flavors that comfort and inspire.

When asked what has helped them succeed, the trio is unanimous: "Perseverance, adaptability, and effective communication." They believe these qualities have been instrumental in navigating the entrepreneurial journey. "As women, we've learned to multitask, prioritize, and support each other through thick and thin," Sanjana adds, highlighting the strength in their partnership.

"The most rewarding part of opening our cafe has been seeing our vision come to life and receiving positive feedback from our customers," they unanimously say. "Our signature dishes include our famous Vietnamese Egg Coffee, Bangkok Special Caramel Toast, and signature coffee blends."

The response from customers has been nothing short of heartwarming. "The feedback from our customers has been overwhelmingly positive," Sanjana remarks. For Nima F. Pulludan, the transition from modeling to entrepreneurship has been eye-opening. "As a model turned entrepreneur, I've learned valuable skills such as resilience and self-confidence," she shares. These skills have been essential in facing the challenges of business ownership.

But did people doubt her ability to succeed? "I've faced doubts from others about my ability to succeed as an entrepreneur due to my modeling background," she admits. However, she proved them wrong. "I've done it by working hard, staying focused, and continuously learning and growing."

She also recognizes some similarities between the two fields. "There are similarities between the modeling industry and the world of business, such as the importance of networking, building relationships, and staying adaptable," she says. However, she acknowledges that business requires an entirely different skill set. "The business world demands financial management, marketing, and leadership."

Has her public persona helped? "My public persona as a model has helped create visibility for our cafe and attract customers," she says. But she is careful about drawing a line between the two careers. "I make sure to maintain a clear distinction between my modeling career and my role as an entrepreneur."
