Designer Pochampally Collection Showcased At Taj!

The collection recreates the richness and feel of ancient Han- Atlas fabric- a multi hued hand woven and hand dyed Ikat fabric of early 19th century Central Asia that was popular with traders on the silk route and stood as a symbol of luxury and power Ikat from Pochampally is traditionally geometric. In this designer collection, the craft has been reinterpreted in a neo graphic manner reanimating traditional as was seen in the fashion show in Mumbai, Indian motifs such as leaves, flowers, blossoming buds, and peacocks. The garments, with their orchestrated placement of floral motifs come to life as the rhythm of colors transmutes seamlessly into classic attire.
