Pokemon Go Daily Used Twice As Much As Facebook: Report
The massive popularity that the augmented reality game Pokemon Go has generated has broken many a record.
While on a daily basis, it is being used twice as much as the Facebook app on Android, the insanely popular app from Niantic Labs has the most first-week downloads since Apple launched its iOS app store eight years ago, media reports said.
During its first week, Pokemon Go users spent 75 minutes per day playing, versus only 35 minutes on the Facebook app, Forbes.com reported citing a report gathered from the 7Park Data, pulled from a multi-million panel of the anonymous US Android users.

When comparing daily usage the week before and the week after Pokemon Go's release, 7Park Data discovered that the game caused daily usage for YouTube to drop by nine per cent and daily usage of Snapchat to drop by 18 per cent, the report claimed.

The augmented reality game has also become the most downloaded mobile app in its first week of release in the history of the app store, the Verge reported citing confirmation from Apple.
