Alert - Google Videos Is Shutting Down!
Somehow good things always have an ending and right now for those Google fans who love to indulge themselves with Google videos might have their dreams crashing through starting from April 29th.
The giant search engine, Google, has finally decided in shutting down Google videos and users have already been informed during the weekend, about this sad ending.
The reason for shutting down Google Videos is because of the use of YouTube which been much more friendly. Over the weekend, users were alerted about the shutting down Google Videos and they were in turn requested to shift all their current videos to Youtube by the end of April.
There are many users who are extremely upset though and if one doesn't heed to any of these alerts related to the shutting down Google Videos, their content will be lost forever!
So if you are one user of Google Videos, it is advisable to shift the videos uploaded to a youtube id. You should also know that Youtube has better options when it comes to uploading videos as they have options like that of sharing your videos privately or in an unlisted manner!
For Google Users, here is the way to download all your videos to the most popular video sharing website, Youtube!
1.Go to the video status page.
2.Click on the download video link( right side of each video , in the actions column)
3.Once the video has been downloaded, you will be alerted on the screen saying ,'Already Downloaded'.
4.If you have a number of videos on Google Videos , you have to make use of the paging control which is seen at the bottom of the page to access them all.
Work fast towards saving your videos as the shutting down Google Videos will start from April 29th right through May 13th after which you will not find any content, post date.
