Facebook has grown up to be a part of our lifestyle both personally and professionally. It became a news when one person decided to pay it a tribute. A Egyptian man, Jamal Ibrahim, named his daughter 'Facebook' to mark the contribution of the social networking site towards organising protest in Egyptian cities. The childs' full name is Facebook Jamal Ibrahim and the whole community supports the Egyptian man in naming his girl after Facebook, which helped them a great extent in their revolution.

Egypt has the maximum number of Facebook users in the Middle East, The number of users in Egypt is five million and it had increased by thousands last month. The government had also used the social networking site in the Egyptian revolution to reach out to youth. They had 32,000 groups and 14,000 pages dedicated to the revolution and the result has been a great success. Thus, the naming of his child Facebook by the Egyptian man is a tribute to the social networking site for it's unmatched support.

One of the blog reads, “The Internet as a whole should win the Nobel Peace Prize this year for all it"s done for democracy in the Middle East/North African region, but let"s not let this naming kids get out of hand." Egyptians thank Marc Zukerberg for creating a wonder like Facebook. The act of the Egyptian man naming his child 'Facebook' makes the revolution an immortal event.
