Mark Zuckerberg – Time Person Of The Year

Time's editor said that Mark Zuckerberg was chosen as the Time Person Of The Year, "for changing how we all live our lives in ways that are innovative and even optimistic.Facebook is one of the largest human institutions ever created."
Michael S. Malone, author and longtime Silicon Valley historian said, "What other organization has ever included 500 million people? For that alone, he's an historic figure."
Mark Zuckerberg started Facebook way back in 2004 in Havard university and within two years it became the second most popular social networking site to MySpace. His aim was to be number one and soon leaving behind all the social networking site giants, Facebook reached to the top. Zuckerberg was so confident of the success of Facebook that it denied $1 billion buyout offer from Yahoo.
After Mark Zuckerberg received the honour of Time Person Of The Year, her posted on his wall, "This is a real honor and it is recognition of how our little team is building something that hundreds of millions of people want to be a part of. I'm just happy to be a part of it too."
Mark Zuckerberg is not the person to be content. He wants to be the better of the best and thus, the question of what next is sure to come up. "He's built something wonderful and amazing and worth all kind of awards. But it's kind of like Obama winning the Nobel Peace Prize -- he now needs to earn it," said Steve Blank, an entrepreneur and author of "The Secret History of Silicon Valley.
