This was revealed in a study, it says, often the cosmetic retailers hire attractive looking salesgirl as a means to get more costumers, but what they don't realise is that the young women do not like to buy their make-up from better looking women.
However, if you one of those who thinks that women are all full of egos and it is their bloated ego, which would make them do such a thing, we suggest you reconsider you opinions, because it not false pride or the widely common female "J"( jealousy), instead it is fear, yes, it is so.
The study conducted by Bianca Price of the University of South Australia, demystifies the belief that female shoppers would like the attractive salesgirl and would her advice on what to buy. Instead the survey revealed that on the contrary many women expressed that they felt intimidated by the attractive sales staff.
For an average looking your-round-the-corner girl, the incredibly attractive sales staff would seem as an unapproachable figure, or even a threat for some, but all concluding with the female shopper not buying certain things at all, says Ms Price.
A PhD student, 27-year old Ms Price conducted the study as part her thesis and interviewed over 341 female university graduates between the ages of 18 and 26,
