Better
than
a
thousand
hollow
words
is
one
word
that
brings
peace.
What
is
the
most
sought
after
thing
in
this
world?
The
answer
is
a
single
word;
peace.
It
is
the
thriving
desire
for
everyone
to
live
in
peace.
When
we

it
should

Peace
is
a
virtue,
a
state
of
mind,
a
disposition
for
benevolence,
confidence
and
justice.
Holy
Bible
says:
“Blessed
are
the
peacemakers
for
they
shall
be
called
the
children
of
God".

World
Peace.
The idea of conflict free interaction between all humans is often told an Utopian idea. It is mostly because of the wide ranges of behaviour and personal circumstances that exist. People always end-up in conflicts over one or other issues. It is to avoid all types of conflicts between individuals, nations and organizations, the world peace day is celebrated. The soul aim of this celebration is to mark our individual and collective progress toward building Cultures of Peace, and serve as a reminder of our permanent commitment to Peace, above all interests and differences of any kind. The International Day of Peace provides an opportunity for individuals, organizations and nations to create practical acts of Peace on a shared date.
Declaring 21st September as International Day of Peace, United Nations proclaimed that International Day of Peace shall henceforth be observed as a day of global ceasefire and non-violence, an invitation to all nations and people to honour a cessation of hostilities for the duration of the Day... People from all sectors of society are asked to honor and celebrate International Day of Peace on 21st September. The vision of the Day extends far beyond the cessation of violent conflict and represents an opportunity for individuals to join in a moment of global unity.
