Live life with passion to be influential

The achievements of all great men are that regardless of the state they passed out of this life. (Mozart passed out of this life as a pauper, Abraham Lincoln passed out of this life with state honours). Both have left behind their mark, ensuring that their name is remembered in the remnants of the intellectual estate that they developed during their "reign" as themselves on earth. Mozart's music is arguably more famous that anyone else's of his time and after. Abraham Lincoln's childhood stories still teach us how to live a noble life and are still taught in moral science classes today. When they died, no one would have imagined that their influence, their actions, things they said, their quotes would carry on beyond their generations worldwide.

Being influential is not everybody's cup of tea. There are people whose personalities over tower everybody around. They are born to be great people. It is an accepted notion that nobody is born great. But these people had to work at it with the support of it being written in their stars. This doesn't mean being influential is within everybody's reach. Just like they say a good king rules with love and respect and not with authority, so does an influential person. It is a part of his or her charisma to be over towering. People like it when he or she comes in and over towers everybody with his personality.

It's a bit like being famous. You really want the fame because why wouldn't you want be famous!!! One way of looking at it is that such people are selfish but sometimes it is just that you take the spotlight (and the fault of some others to give it to them). But the point to be taken here is that the person who takes the spotlight doesn't leave anybody stolen of their own charisma. Basically everybody goes home happy and nobody's ego is hurt in the end.

We all have somebody or the other while we grow up who has a constant presence through out our lives - An uncle, grandfather, parent or just friend. There are some of us who wish that we were like those very people-that we could have an influence that they had on us. But at the end of the day what matters is that we did everything that we did with as much passion as they did. They had it written in their stars that they were the ones who would influence all around them. You too would have had an effect on someone if you lived every single moment with the same passion, only you would have never known it. After all, their influence was not the goal of their actions and attitude. They just had the charisma that was required to influence. And in they process they had a great affect on their environment and the people around. It's not something you should envy. Its something you should make use of when you can and when you had or have the opportunity to.
