10 Places Women Don't Wish To Visit
A city is said to be safe for a woman, if she can travel at any time, do what she want to do or wear what she feel comfortable in. But the condition is such that even a female child is not safe to live without boundaries and restrictions. Even in metro cities that are ranked higher among best livable cities in India, women feel unsafe and do not wish to travel there.
A new survey by TrustLaw, a legal news service of the Thomson Reuters Foundation, ranked India among the top five countries in the world that are considered as 'most dangerous places' for women because of health threats, sexual violence, non-sexual violence, cultural or religious factors, lack of access to resources and trafficking. Google Trends, reported that India is one of seven countries that most frequently type the word "sex." In an article of International Herald Tribune, India was ranked the worst place to be a woman.
All cities have its own pros and cons, but a bad minority can bring the title of ‘being notorious' to the city and it will be highlighted over anything else. India has to go a long way for a woman to sigh ‘wow..Incredible India'. Since personal safety has become an issue of importance for women, these are some places in India women don't want to visit.. What actions do you think authorities should take to make these least preferable cities for a visit, the most demanded destinations?

Delhi
Delhi has earned the distinction of being the most unsafe place for women in India. The recent incident of gang rape gave Delhi a new title, ‘rape capital'. According to the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), the capital reported 23.8 percent of total rape cases.

Kolkata
Kolkata is out from choice for women due to eve- teasing, assaults, rape and the number of crimes against women. West Bengal is noted to have more crimes against women.

Gurgaon
Rape cases and crime rates makes Gurgaon (the second largest city in Haryana), one of the unsafe places women would not like to visit. Working women are at risk of rape, molestation, abduction and crimes especially at night.

Mumbai
According to government statistics, 10.8 per cent of rape cases took place in Mumbai. The financial capital of India is supposed to be a safe place if the arguments for making prostitution legal will work.

Madhya Pradesh
Madhya Pradesh has also emerged as a city that cannot assure safety for women as per FSI survey. When safety is the prime consideration, Madhya Pradesh is a place which most women do not like to visit.

Hyderabad
