The trouble started with Kristen Stewart's cheating episode. Nothing has ever been as before between this cute couple since then. Kristen Stewart's cheating on Robert hurt him in an irreparable way. He started looking for some distance from Kristen who became all the more demanding.

In fact, when Kristen wanted to visit Rob in Australia, he said a flat no. Even when they were together in Los Angeles, Rob kept looking for space making Kristen increasingly more insecure. While Robert Pattinson was partying with his guy friends, Kristen was showing-off her commitment ring to her girlfriends. She even proclaimed to her friends that Rob is the guy she will marry.

So was it an insistence on marriage that actually caused the Robsten breakup? Insisting on marriage too early could have been the final straw in this already unstable relationship. Sources close to both Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart feel that it was Rob's need for space and Kristen excessive need for Rob that made the couple part.
