Today is World Deaf Day, and this day we will take a look at some of the most popular deaf people of the world. These great personalities overcame their physical challenges and made revolutionary landmarks on the face of history. Check out some of the most popular deaf people.
Thomas Alva Edison- He is one of the most popular inventors and businessman till date in History. His greatest inventions include the phonograph and a light bulb. He also invented the carbon microphone used in all telephones along with the bell receiver. The cause of Edison's deafness has been attributed to a scarlet fever that he had in childhood .
