Bangalore once again witnessed one of its most sought after events where art met fashion and music graced along with culture. Kingfisher Premium Sunday Soul Sante in its 9th edition was the perfect weekend getaway from a banal life to a world of creative independence. Adding to all the fun was the free flowing Kingfisher Premium beer which helped soak in all the excitement.
The flea market enhanced the carnival feel with over 200 stalls catering to the eclectic taste of Bangaloreans. From specially handcrafted home products, jewelery and tailored apparel, there were also gourmet pastries tempting passers-by.

Some interesting attractions of this carnival included electrifying performances by MoonAara with their classical and jazz music. DJs Rohan Kapur, Spec, Arun and many more also kept the crowds engaged through the day with a fusion of genres of music.

The high point of the evening was a fascinating high street fashion capsule choreographed by Bangalore's fashion guru, Prasad Bidappa.

Kingfisher Premium Sunday Soul Sante is a concept presented for the first time in September 2010 to bring together the creative culture of the city at one venue.

Kingfisher's Association with Music:
Kingfisher has had a long standing association with Music. Since 2005, Kingfisher has extended the spirit of the German Oktoberfest to the city of Bangalore calling it Kingfisher ‘The Great Indian Octoberfest' (Kingfisher TGIOF). With footfalls in excess of 65000 and beer sales in excess of 20000 liters, Kingfisher The Great Indian Octoberfest is touted to be the biggest music cum beer fest in India. The spirit of Octoberfest was also carried out to the city of Delhi where it got the name ‘The Kingfisher Rocktoberfest'- a 3 day festival which showcases the best of rock bands from across the country. Kingfisher also has been conducting a unique music festival that happened across pubs.

‘The Kingfisher Premium Pubrockfest' saw as many as 75 gigs across 16 cities within the country. Being a true testament to promoting local artistic talent Kingfisher has been a part of some of the biggest regional talent hunts across the country. Events ranging from ‘Kingfisher Voice of Goa' to ‘Kingfisher Kerala Rocks' each catered to the aspiring raw talents within its region, proving a launch pad and a landmark event in Indian pop culture.

Another step forward in the world of music and dance is ‘The Kingfisher Salsa Congress'. A first of its kind in the region, Kingfisher Salsa Congress is one of the largest salsa festivals in the country. Kingfisher Premium has been instrumental in introducing Indian audience to some of the most prominent DJ's from across the globe including Worlds No 1. DJ Tiesto. The brand has also extended itself by being an associate with an iconic event named ‘The Sunburn festival' which features the likes of Armin Van Burren, along with a few other best known DJ's from across the world. Kingfisher Metal events in the past years have seen the likes of Sepultura, Textures &AmonAmarth to name a few.
