You hear of food festivals every now and then so why should you attend this particular one we are talking about? Obviously not without a reason. The Theen Mura Fest for food has started in Bangalore about a week back. But the good news is that it will last another week so that you can enjoy the exotic flavours of Syria over here.

What Is So Special About Theen Mura Food Festival?
First of all how often do you get to taste Syrian food? Not that often, do you. Moreover it is not just plain delicacies from Syria but specifically Christian food. As you know Syria like India is a country that houses many religions including Islam and Christianity. This special food festival was organised specially in honour of Christmas this year. Although Christmas is over they are still serving authentic Christian food with a religious significance for Christmas.

This extended ensemble of food in Bangalore is an extension of the Then Mura series hosting food festivals in many cities like Chennai.

Timings:
Lunch will be served from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm
Dinner is spread out from 7:30 pm to 11:00 pm

This event started on the 25th of December last year and will continue till Sunday 8th January 2011. So be on time to taste the best.
