Recently, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced a special schedule for Holi, celebrated on 25 March 2024. Metro services in Delhi, including the Rapid Metro and Airport Express Line, will start operations from 2:30 pm on this vibrant day. This decision aims to ensure the safety and convenience of commuters during the festival celebrations.

In addition to the metro service update, the DMRC also informed that the ITO metro station would be closed from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on March 22, 2024, following advice from the Delhi Police. This temporary closure is part of the preparations for the safe and smooth conduct of Holi festivities across the city.

Meanwhile, Indian Railways is gearing up for the Holi rush by introducing 540 extra train services. These additional trains will connect several key destinations across India, catering to the increased travel demand during the festival.
