The consecration ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya is poised to be a historical event filled with reverence and grandeur and it is scheduled to take place on 22 January 2024.

Amongst the elaborate arrangements, a unique token of gift will be given to the invitees. As the city of Ayodhya prepares to host a plethora of guests for this momentous occasion, each one will be graced with a 'Ramraj' and prasad-a gesture steeped in cultural and spiritual significance. What Is 'Ramraj'?
'Ramraj' is more than just ordinary soil; it is the sanctified earth extracted from the very foundation of the Ram temple. A Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra trust member told ANI that 'More than 11,000 guests from across the country have been invited for the consecration ceremony on January 22 and they will be given memorable gifts such as 'Ramraj.'

It will invite good fortune if the soil is kept in the house and one can also use it as a 'sacred gift' in their home gardens or pots, he said.

What Will The Gift Box Contain?
There is a lot of curiosity around these gift boxes which will be gifted to invitees attending the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony.
The 'Ramraj' will be packed in small boxes along with 'motichoor laddos' which will me made of 'desi ghee' as prasad, mentioned the official statement.

For the guests, who will not be able to attend this consecration ceremony due to some reason, they will be given the Ramraj whenever they visit the temple in Ayodhya, said a member.

Apart from that, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be presented with a 15-metre-long picture of the Ram temple packed in a jute bag, the trust member added.
Guest List, Special Invitees To Ayodhya Ram Mandir Consecration Ceremony
The chief guest of Pran Pratishtha ceremony is Prime Minister Narendra Modu and according to new reports, over 7,000 invitations have been sent to celebrities, industrialists, politicians, and spiritual leaders. Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Amitabh Bachchan, Mukesh Ambani, and Gautam Adani, along with 4,000 seers from across the nation will be present at the event.
The consecration ceremony will begin at 12:20 pm on 22 January 2024, and it will be conducted by the Varanasi priest, accompanied by four trustees and four priests.

Carefully orchestrated seating arrangements and a meticulously planned program promise to make the event both seamless and sacred.

Special guests will receive designated codes that will determine their seating arrangements, which will be around 7,500 and it has been organized by Ayodhya Divisional Commissioner Gaurav Dayal for the upcoming ceremony.
