Justin Bieber Gets Too Funny On Internet
Justin Bieber has an added feather in his crown, the teen icon won the 15th Annual Webby Award for being at the top of the search on the internet.
The baby hitmaker's Die.com video won in the Comedy (Individual Short or Episode) category, despite his competitor, CollegeHumor.com, all credits to Twitter for campaigning for Justin Bieber and stealing all votes from the comedy site.
The webby awards has a wide variety of entrants in categories such as activism, music, comedy short and sports in terms of the website design, advertising, film and video, mobile and apps.
Apart from Justin Bieber, other winners included the "Hangover" star Zach Galifianakis for Best Web Host for "Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis" and Lisa Kudrow for her Best Comedy "Web Therapy." Funny or Die humor site won most of the honors with eight.
Other webby winner include Adrian Grenier, Jim Carrey, Steve Carell, Snoop Dogg, LL Cool J and Arcade Fire. Popular mobile game Angry Birds won a Webby and People's Voice award for best game.
The 15th annual Webby awards was organised by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences. The winners were announced on Tuesday.
Justin Bieber has undoubtedly been the prince of the internet even beating Charlie Sheen, who, according to bieber is the top search on twitter.
