Bush Family Leave White House
As the former president, Bush and wife Laura Bush make way for the Obamas, they leave behind a few cherished items.

Reportedly, the Bush leave behind 492,798-dollar official state china service, a Lenox gilt-edged style with a green basket weave border, at the official residence. The other items left behind are two custom rugs, including one in the Diplomatic Reception Room with emblems from all 50 state flags.

The memorable items that the former first family took along with them include their eight-year-old collection of books, and a personal chest of drawers belonging to the 43rd president's grandmother.

As revealed by the Sally McDonough, Press Secretary to Laura Bush, the family have taken back only their personal items. "Mrs. Bush having the experience of being at the White House when her father-in-law was president -- knew how many beautiful things she had to choose from to furnish the residence. And she will go back to Texas with only those items that belong to her," Fox News quoted her as saying.

However, the former first Lady is definitely taking back her huge pile of clothes, She said: "The one thing she does joke about is that she certainly will take many clothes with her because obviously she has a much more formal wardrobe than when she came." AGENCIES
