Will 'Don' make it in Diwali?
By Taran Adarsh, IndiaFM
With Diwali releases three months away, the excitement has started soaring. While J.P. Dutta [UMRAO JAAN] has confirmed the release date and so has Sajid Nadiadwala [JAAN-E-MANN], producer Ritesh Sidhwani and director Farhan Akhtar, the makers of DON, have not issued any official statement pertaining to the release date yet.
In fact, a section of the industry is of the opinion that DON might not make it in the Diwali week since a substantial amount of work is yet to be completed. "I am not bothered about what people have to say. The fact is that DON is definitely arriving on October 20. There's no reason for postponement," Farhan Akhtar tells me.
Reportedly, Farhan is yet to complete the film. "Actually, we are through with the shooting. Only one song remains to be filmed, that's it. And even that should be completed in a few days from now," he clarifies.
Farhan
