The used papers, old newspapers, old bills and pages from notebooks... You'll feel like crushing them and light a lamp to make a handful of ashes. Dare to do so? You can now hear shrieks on missing bills, notes or information etc. If you are going through the same dilemma to keep your house freed of papers, here are some useful tips.

Newspapers
Do you have a small window in your living room or study room that you never opened at all? If one such window is there anywhere in your house, it is the best place to keep your newspapers..

Fold the newspapers neatly as it had come at your doorstep.

Arrange them in ascending dates order.

Now, keep the newspapers for one month between two rails. Be careful that the newspapers will fit in tightly between the two rails.

As the place fill in, take out the newspapers in bottom rail and fill the space with the new section. You can also encourage the kids to make a news album for storing the authentic information, before selling the newspapers.

Decorate the window with beaded curtains, flowers or peacock tails for an aesthetic look.

Notebooks
Always remember the mantra 'Dump to replace' before you start storing the notebooks. You may never have to store the notebook of preliminary school kid until he/she completes the next year in school. (Unless it shows your kid"s exceptional talent.)

As you start storing the books, consult with your kid, how important the books are to them.

Instead of storing the notes in one or another books, take out the leaves of the books that have importance. Buy a bunk folder and arrange the pages in that folder.

Maintain a folder for each year that will make your task easier.

Bills
Bills are the items that you may be most scared to throw off. Realize that there are some bills that may not have validity after a period. Recognize those bills and throw them away as soon as you finish the task.

Electricity, water and corporation bills have validity for a lifetime. File them and store them carefully to avoid future havocs.

Shopping bills have validity until they finish the date of guarantee. Feel free to throw away the bills after that.

Maintain a list hanger where you can keep the bills. However be careful to empty them at apt moments.
