Vegetables To Grow In Pots
There are many gardening lovers who are restricted to the available space. If your garden space is limited or you stay in an apartment, but love gardening, then indoor gardening is a simple solution. However, pot or container gardens are also becoming a popular trend.
This is simply because pot plants can be used for decorating the home especially the balcony. The greenery adds a charm and life to the decorations. If you have persistence, then you can grow any plant in the pot.
Often a lot of people think that it is difficult to grow vegetables in pots as they require space to spread. For example, watermelon and squash plants spread wide and can best grown in garden. However, there are some vegetables that can be grown in pots. For example, beans, carrot, potatoes, eggplant, onions ans peas are some of the vegetable plants that can be grown in pots. Moreover some vegetables like cucumber can also be grown in large pots.
If you want to grow vegetable plants in pots, then check out the ones that you can pick from. Now, you can add some organic vegetables in your diet. It is always a special treat to enjoy self-grown vegetables.
Vegetable Plants That Can Be Grown In Pots:

Radish
Growing radishes is very easy in pots. Spread the seeds in the top of the pot. Keep the soil moist and you will see the growth of radishes in a month.

Peppers
It is best to grow this vegetable in a larger pot. The larger the pot, the better. A 5-gallon pot should hold one to two plants.

Green Onions
Green onions grow well in 5 gallons containers. Put the bag of sets deep into the soil 2-3 inches apart.

Lettuce
This green vegetable can easily grow in containers. Spread the seeds on the top layer of the soil. Water when required as lettuce grow easily in moist soil.

Tomatoes
It is one of the easy to grow vegetable plants. Refer dwarf variety of tomatoes and grow them in the pot. Use seeds or sapling whatever you want.

Beets
Any variety of beet root can grow easily in the pot. However, Red Ace is one of the varieties that can grow faster. Make sure the pot is large and deep at least 12 inches deep. Beets can spoil if they are crowded under the soil.
