3. Depression:
As per a research study, it was found that people with autoimmune diseases are 60% more likely to develop depression or any other form of a mood-related disorder. This is one of the conditions that can occur due to autoimmune diseases.

4. Cancer:
An autoimmune disease may weaken the immune system and this increases the risk of the person developing a cancer. Chronic inflammation, which a kind of an autoimmune disease can stimulate the cells to multiply uncontrollably. This can develop the risk of cancer caused by mutations. This is one of the top risk factors of an autoimmune disorder.

5. Another Autoimmune Disease:
People having one form of an autoimmune disease are more at a risk of developing two or more other forms of autoimmune diseases. This is a condition known as multiple autoimmune syndrome (MAS).
