Tips For Eating Street Food
All of us love eating street food. Let us admit it; street food is tastier and crunchy. But when it comes to the health factor, it is a fact that most of the street food is highly unhygienic and is dangerous for your health.
Especially in summer and in the rainy seasons, we get tempted to eat something on the street. But later on, when we suffer minor infections or an upset stomach, we regret our decisions.
Reasons Why Indians Love Street Food
Actually, most of the roadside foods do contain bacteria and dust on them and that is why it is better to minimise eating street food.
Food poisoning and worms in the stomach are some of the dangers of eating street food. But sometimes, the desire to stimulate the tongue can get the best of us and we crave for that spicy road side stuff.
13 Street Foods You Can't Miss In Kolkata
As most of us know about the effects of eating street food, let us discuss about the care that should be taken when eating food from the streets.

Spicy Food
It is better to avoid eating spicy food on the street. But if you are not able to control yourself from eating, wait till your body gets adjusted to the summer heat and ensure that you eat it in limited quantities.

Water
Always use packaged water soon after you finish eating your street food. It is not safe to drink water from unhygienic places.

Crowded Places
When you eat in a crowded place, ensure that you wash your hands thoroughly before and after eating your street food. In fact, infections spread faster in such places.

Observe
Before you order food, ensure that the plates and the glasses used in the place are properly cleaned by the vendor. If they are dirty or unhygienic, it is better to find another place to try the food.

Exposed Food
Some vendors do expose their food to the dust and the air on the street. Eating food in such a place may not be healthy at all.

Meat
It is better to avoid eating any type of meat on the road side eateries. Meat should be properly treated and processed before it is served. So, eating in a reputed restaurant is better than eating meat on the street.
