Uric acid, produced by the breakdown of purine, is carried in your blood and, then passes through your kidneys. This uric acid passes out of your body when you urinate. But, there are times when the uric acid just stays in your body and, with time the amount of uric acid keeps increasing.

This is dangerous for you and your body. Remember high uric acid means problems and, sometimes can lead to gout even.

It's important to control high uric acid. But, before you learn to control it, you need to understand the causes. Without knowing what causes high uric acid, how can you fight against it?

Here are a few causes that lead to high uric acid and, thus the danger of gout in your body. If you drink alcohol a bit too much, the danger of high uric acid is possible.
