An individual can be of blood type A, B, AB or O. The Blood Type Diet offers a different diet plan for each of the four blood types, based on the theory that each blood type has certain foods and nutrients that it can best utilize

The diet provides a detailed list of food to be avoided or included. Here is the list

Blood Type O
People with this type of blood have thinner blood with greater resistance to blood clotting. They should follow a high-protein, low-carb diet with lots of meat and fish but no dairy products, wheat or grains.
Blood Type A
They have thicker blood than other blood types, a sensitive immune system. They should follow a vegetarian diet that include nuts, seeds, beans, cereals, pasta, rice, fruit. They must avoid dairy products

Blood Type B
They have the best chance of avoiding diseases, including heart disease and cancer. Should consume a balanced diet of fruits and vegetables, grains, fish, dairy products. The only foods that need to be avoided are processed foods

Blood Type AB
This type of blood group people should should eat a combination of the foods recommended for blood groups A and B. Should consume a mostly vegetarian diet, and only on rare occasions some fish and meat (no chicken) are recommended.
