Nutrients That Help To Quickly Increase Haemoglobin
Listed here are a few of the nutrient-rich foods that help to increase the haemoglobin level quickly. Check them out.
Do you feel fatigued and weak, have difficulty in breathing, experience frequent headaches and rapid heartbeat or has your appetite decreased?
Then you should not neglect these symptoms for too long. You might be suffering from low haemoglobin level.
Haemoglobin is an iron-rich protein present in red blood cells that carries oxygen throughout the body. In addition to this, haemoglobin also helps to carry the carbon dioxide away from the cells and transport it back to the lungs.
Haemoglobin plays a very important role for the normal functioning of the body in human beings. One needs to be very careful about maintaining the normal haemoglobin level.

According to experts, the normal haemoglobin level ranges from 14 to 18 g/dl for an adult men and 12 to 16 g/dl for an adult woman.
Anaemia is one of the major health issues that is caused due to low haemoglobin level. Also, a few women develop this condition during pregnancy or when they are on their periods. Blood loss following a sugery could be yet another reason for low haemoglobin level.
So, in order to increase the haemoglobin level there are a few nutrients that help. A few of them are listed here.

Add Folic Acid To Your Diet:
When the body lacks in folic acid or what is commonly called the B-complex vitamin, then it leads to lowering of the haemoglobin level. Leafy green vegetables, peanuts, liver, sprouts, fortified cereals and bananas are a few of the common foods that are rich in folic acid. So for those who have low haemoglobin count, it is essential to add folic acid in the diet.

Add Iron-rich Foods To Your Diet:
Iron is one of the most important nutrients that helps in the production of haemoglobin. Adding iron-rich foods like liver, red meat, spinach, almonds, dates and lentils in your daily diet helps in increasing the haemoglobin level. In addition, if necessary you could also take iron supplements after consulting a doctor.

Eat Foods Rich In Vitamin C:
Lack of vitamin C in the body could also lead to reduced haemoglobin level. Adding foods rich in vitamin C like oranges, lemon, strawberries, grapefruit, tomatoes, papaya and spinach help in increasing the haemoglobin level.

Beetroot:
Beetroot is one of the best known natural ingredients that helps in increasing the haemoglobin level. Rich in iron, folic, potassium as well as fibre content, beetroot is a must have if you are suffering from low haemoglobin count. Take one beetroot, about two carrots, blend it well in a grinder and then drink one glass of this juice every day.
