Thin is beautiful and fat is ugly, isn't this the general belief among people, specially among girls? The answer is yes. This belief from being an innocent ignorance of chocolate and sweet can grow up to become a dangerous eating disorder called Anorexia.

It is an eating disorder, caused due to psychological disturbance. An anorexic patient suffers the fear of growing fat. They are convinced that they are overweight and avoid food to loose fat. They grow skinny and mental illness also graduates. It can be fatal and cause death.
Dr. David S. Rosen, professor of adolescent medicine at the University of Michigan Health System, have revealed that the disease is becoming popular among 1% of pre-teens. The trend is catching up with teenagers in a fast pace.

The good news is that Anorexia is curable. It is also a mental illness, psychiatric treatment is needed and measures to increase intake of food is also required. Here are ways to cure Anorexia -

1.Grate a small piece if ginger and mix asafetida, black pepper and lemon juice. Eat it twice a day to increase appetite and cure anorexia.

2.Mix ginger and lemon juice with salt and preserve in a bottle. Keep the bottle under sun for 3-4 days. Take a spoon full of this juice everyday after meal, to increase your appetite.

3.Eating 2-3 tomatoes every day with salt and black pepper is a very good and quick cure of anorexia.

4.Vegetable stalk or chicken stew with pepper and salt is one of the best medicines for the disease. This is healthy, thus brings back the strength and nutrition to the body and at the same time is a great appetizer.

5.Crush some sour grapes and mix with the flour. Make chapatis (Indian bread) with it. Eat this twice a day.

Walk these six steps to cure Anorexia. It brings with it several problems like hair loss, yellow skin, nausea, less attention span etc. One thing to keep in mind is that while treating the disease never try to force in a lot of food suddenly. It will take time for the body to regain it's normal appetite. Increase the portion every week. This will not only make the recovery smooth but at the same time prevent the body from bloating.
