Plastic Bottles Poses Health Risks For Babies

British scientists have also announced that there is 'compelling' evidence that the chemical found in plastic bottles can cause health hazards like breast cancer, sex hormone imbalances and poses other health risks to babies.

United States of America has already banned these bottles, while the health authorities in countries like Australia and Britain are under pressure to remove it from shelves.

Australia's Federal Health Minister Nicola Roxon has put the responsibility to do away with the BPA bottle on Therapeutic Goods Administration. Meanwhile, Queensland grandmother and anti-BPA in bottles campaigner Nadia Duensing warned that Australia could become the 'dumping ground.'

France and Canada, have also stooped the usage of these bottles. However, TGA has hinted that the Federal Health department need to deal with the issue. Eu
ropean scientists too, may soon launch a campaign to get rid of the BPA containing bottles.
