3. Almonds: Almond is a recent addition to this list of super food diet. The nutritious properties of almonds are so many that there is something called almond diet itself. Almonds soaked in water and eaten in the morning give you all the extra energy for the whole day and they are not fattening.
4. Berries: Your power diet simply must contain berries; they may be of any breed, type or colour they will always do you good. Blueberry is the most nutritious of the lot but all the other berries like strawberries are equally full of vitamin C and anti oxidants. In fact they have photochemicals that can modify the 'obese' gene in your body to make you slim down.
5. Nuts And Seeds: Almond is also a nut but it is mentioned separately because it is one of a kind. More or less all nuts and seeds are known to be healthy but not in the league of almonds. Chia seeds for example has been predicted to be the next super food for vegetarians as it contains essential minerals that can be found in meats and seafoods only.
6. Green Vegetables: Green super foods have an edge over others as they give you vital vitamins like A, K and follates apart from the antioxidants. Your blood count, skin, hair and youth depends on them.
