How To Jog Effectively?
Jogging is a great exercise to energise yourself and achieve the desired body shape. You not only burn calories but also get a fit body and mind. Many people think a jog is enough to stay healthy but before you jog, you need to know how to effectively jog so as to achieve the best results. Lets see ways to effectively jog.
1. Don't just wear your jogging shoes and head towards the ground. To effectively jog, you need to stretch before going for a jog. For proper jogging, stretch before and don't think that stretching is only to be done after running. By stretching, you make the leg muscles flexible and prevent getting sprains or injuries.
2. To jog effectively, morning is the best time of the day. Start your day with an active and healthy body and mind. It increases the metabolism to keep you energetic whole day.
3. Wear jogging shoes and not normal ones to make it effective. Based on the ground you can select the shoes such as a street running shoes for streets or shoes with spikes for grass grounds.
4. Beginners can start with slow walking and then while increasing speed in walking, start proper jogging. To energise your mood and pace, listen to some music.
5. Choose a flat terrain for a jog if you are new. This is because you put pressure on your feet, knees and leg joints thus making it prone to get sprains and injuries.
6. Don't overdo exercise before the muscles are warm enough. Start slowly and gradually increase the jogging speed to avoid getting tears or sprains.
7. Have water 30 minutes before going for a jog to stay hydrated. You can also carry water bottle with you but don't have too much water. It fills your stomach and decreases the pace.
8. For productive results, jog empty stomach. It helps you increase the speed and burn calories. Filled stomach tends to make people lazy while working out.
9. Jog on your toes and not on heels. Exerting pressure on the toes effects the leg and toe muscles.
10. Do stretching after jogging. Take a break and then stretch.
