Always Choose Natural Colours Over Artificial Ones

While the outfit gets sorted you may wonder what she does to save her hair and skin from harmful effects on holi colours. Dolly told us that using natural colours is the most important tip to ensure blemish free skin post Holi. We're often advised to apply oil on skin and hair to protect it.

However, Dolly feels differently, she believes that if one has coloured hair, which is common amongst most people these days, applying any form of oil, coconut or mustard might actually damage the colouring. Additionally, oil will make the dry colours stick to the hair making it more matted. Once you're done playing, Dolly recommends brushing your hair with a comb to dust out the colours before washing.

As for accessories, it's best to go basic. Dolly recommends not wearing your usual chains, necklaces and rings because these can get damaged or lost. Perhaps just wear simple studs and a couple of bangles for the look. But avoid wearing statement jewellery pieces as those can get damaged or lost.
