Dry Fruit Mango Lassi: Baisakhi Recipe
Baisakhi marks the beginning of Hindu year. We can celebrate the beginning of this harvest festival with some of the easy-to-make vegetarian recipes. From Chole Bhatura to the chilled and refreshing lassi, there are many Baisakhi recipes that can be prepared to celebrate the big Hindu festival.
WAYS TO MAKE YOUR HOME YELLOW ON BAISAKHI
As Punjab is well know for its huge glass of filling and healthy lassi, here is a Baisakhi special, dry fruit mango lassi. Whenever you go to any Punjabi restaurant or visit the green state, you would be welcomed with a glass of refreshing lassi. There are many types of lassi that can be prepared using several ingredients. As mangoes are coming in this season, blend the juicy and sweet fruit with some dry fruits to prepare a lip smacking cooling summer drink. Check out the recipe.
Dry Fruit Mango Lassi: Baisakhi Recipe

Ingredients
1.
Yogurt-
1
cup
2.
Mango-
1
(peeled
and
cut
into
pieces)
3.
Almonds-
4-5
(crushed)
4.
Pistachios-
3-4
(sliced)
5.
Sugar-
3tsp
6.
Rose
water-
a
drop
7.
Ice
cubes-
3-4
Procedure
1.
Strain
the
yogurt
and
whisk
it
a
little.
2.
In
a
blender,
grind
yogurt
with
mango
using
little
water.
Add
sugar
and
grind
till
the
sugar
dissolves.
3.
Once
the
mango
blends,
add
rose
water
and
grind
again
for
a
few
seconds.
4.
Strain
the
blended
mix
so
that
the
mango
pulp
and
fiber
is
removed.
5.
In
a
glass,
add
ice
cubes
and
then
pour
the
mango
lassi.
Garnish
with
dry
fruits.
If
you
want,
you
can
also
add
dry
fruits
while
blending.
