Wanting to wake up looking stunning with gorgeous mass of glorious waves cascading down your back is a dream aspired by many; however, sadly, reality is quite different.

Believe it or not, it is doable! All you need to do is get rid of a few detrimental habits and embrace a few good habits to do the trick.
For instance, ditch your elastic bands with scrunchies, as using elastic bands can break your hair strands.
Also, switch your old cotton pillowcases to silk ones. Silk pillowcases have cooling effect, which will improve the texture of your hair, keep blow-outs intact and also give a glossy tint to your tresses.

And whatever you do, never comb your hair first thing in the morning. Instead, give your hair some breathing space and remove those tangles gently with your fingers.
Other than the above-mentioned tricks, listed below are a few handy natural tricks that will help you wake up with prettier hair every morning, take a look!

Wrapping
If you like your hair to be sleek straight when you wake up, then give this wrapping technique a go. Start wrapping satin scarf from the apex of your scalp, and work your way downwards. Secure the scarf with bobby pins. If you have excessively dry hair, this technique will help retain the moisture in your hair, thereby preventing breakage.

Limited Oil Massage
As much as we have been drilled about the therapeutic benefits of coconut oil massage, the key is to keep it limited. Natural oils can be comedogenic that triggers acne, if done excessively. Not to mention, leave your scalp greasy. Doing a right amount of massage will nourish your hair, without making it limp.

Brush Your Hair Before Bed
Put yourself in the habit of brushing your hair every night before going to bed. Use a natural bristle brush and brush your hair from the root to tips for several minutes. It will boost blood circulation, promote natural oils in your scalp to spread to the hair shafts, nourishing them.

Braid Away
Braid your hair before you go to sleep and wake up with some perfectly tousled waves. Depending on the amount of waves you want, you can braid your hair in two or four sections. In the morning, open your braids, tousle it, tame the fly aways with a few drops of natural oil and you are good to go.

Overnight Natural Mask
Your dull, tired and frizzy tresses need some pampering to restore the natural lustre, so give this overnight mask a go.
For this, mix one tablespoon of olive oil and half a spoon of aloe vera gel with an egg white. Whisk until all the ingredients corporate well. Apply it on to your scalp and hair, and wash it in the morning with a mild shampoo. Be prepared to be amazed with the results.

Dry Shampoo
Did you know that using a dry shampoo in the night can make your hair look way more natural than using one in the morning? Spritz a liberal amount of dry shampoo to your scalp. Using soft tip of your fingers, massage your scalp and go to bed. In the morning, say yes to gorgeous full-volume locks.

Never Sleep In Wet Hair
Sleeping with wet or partially dried hair is a big no-no. It will make your hair turn frizzy, weak and prone to more breakage. Dry your hair fully before you hit the bed or wash your hair earlier in the day, so that it has more time to dry off.
