Say Goodbye To Waxing Rashes With These Easy Home Remedies
Men only see the dewy skin that is smooth as silk and soft like a baby's skin, but hardly are they privy to the sheer pain we women go through to keep up the charade. Truth is, we get stubbles. That's right, thick, pointy hair poking out from everywhere.
And we have to rush to the parlour to rip it off, at least every third week. And if ripping the hair out of your skin with molten wax was not painful enough, we often face the after-effects of waxing too namely rashes.

Hence, listed here are a few effective home remedies that will save you from the pain of waxing rashes, have a look.

Ice cubes
Ice cubes soothe skin inflammation and also help shrink the open pores. Take a soft washcloth and wet it in cold water. Squeeze out the excess water and wrap an ice cube in it. Then, apply the ice cubes directly on the affected area. Hold it for as long as possible and repeat the process in every two hours.

Aloe Vera
Anti-inflammatory properties present in aloe vera reduce inflammation, while creating a moisture shield on the skin. Leave a cup of pure aloe vera gel in the refrigerator to chill for a while. Apply the gel liberally on the affected area, several times in a day, to reduce swelling.

Tea Tree Oil
Being antiseptic in nature, tea tree oil can heal worse of skin rashes. Dip a cotton ball in some undiluted tea tree oil and dab it on the rashes, several times a day. And watch the swelling and redness reduce, within a day or two!

Lemon Juice
One of the ingredients that is readily available in our kitchen is lemon juice, which is packed with vitamin C and anti-inflammatory properties that can dry most of the painful boils, right off! Take 1 tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice in a bowl; if your skin is sensitive, dilute the juice with a few drops of water. Immerse a cotton ball in the solution and gently dab it on the affected area.

Coconut Oil
We cannot emphasis on this enough, coconut oil being rich in antibacterial and antiseptic properties works to unclog pores, reduce swelling, while nourishing the skin from deep within. Apply organic coconut oil on the affected area several times in a day.

Baby Powder
There is a reason why your beautician dabs your skin with baby powder before waxing, as it not just reduces excess moisture on the skin, but also lowers the possibility of rashes. And its mild formula makes it an excellent option for any type of a skin. If that isn't reason enough, it also prevents ingrowths.

Chamomile Tea
Chamomile tea contains a strong amount of antioxidants and antibacterial properties that desensitize highly inflamed and irritated skin. Make chamomile tea, allow it to cool in room temperature. Use the solution to take a last rinse after shower. Or simply, apply the solution on the affected area using a cotton ball.
Avoid waxing if you are menstruating, as your skin is more sensitive during these days and can easily fall prey to breakouts. Also, ask your beautician to apply a soothing lotion immediately after waxing to ease any discomfort.
