Homemade Toothpaste To Clean Your Teeth

These days there are a lot of toothpaste brands available in the market and because of this, we are often confused as to what to purchase. Toothpastes which you purchase in stores are extremely harmful as they contain fluoride and titanium dioxide.
These two ingredients which are commonly present in all types of toothpaste is dangerous to health. According to dentists, Titanium dioxide is considered to have carcinogen properties while fluoride is said to be toxic for the body.
So, now that you are aware of these two harmful ingredients present in over the counter toothpastes, it is advisable for you to use alternative measures and that means homemade pastes!
Natural and homemade toothpastes are commonly used in rural India. Neem leaves along with the bark is scientifically proved healthy and useful. Likewise, even baking soda is another ingredient you can safely use on your teeth to make them sparkling white.
Take a look at these homemade toothpastes to clean your teeth:

Peppermint Paste
Begin by rinsing your mouth with clear water. Apply a small amount of mint paste on your toothbrush and brush your teeth for 2 minutes. The paste will soon begin to lather in your mouth. Now rinse your mouth with water and apply a little more mint paste on your index finger. Massage your gums with this homemade toothpaste for 3 minutes and rinse your mouth. This peppermint paste will get rid of bad breath and put an end to bleeding gums.

Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is one of the best ingredients you can brush your teeth with. Apply thick coconut oil on your toothbrush and brush your teeth. After 2 minutes of brushing rinse your mouth with warm salt water. This homemade toothpaste helps in treating cavities.

Herbal Powders
There are a ton of herbal powders, but the best is neem powder. Add a drop of water to one tablespoon of neem powder. Apply the powder on your toothbrush and brush your teeth. This herbal powder gets rid of bad breath and is also good for tooth aches. You can also use your index finger to brush your teeth with herbal powder.

Hydrogen Peroxide
Hydrogen Peroxide along with baking soda and sea salt is a perfect alternative toothpaste to get white teeth. Use this home remedy once in a month to make your teeth look breath-taking.

Baking Soda
A combination of baking soda and peppermint oil is used to make your teeth sparkling white. Brush your teeth with this natural homemade toothpaste twice in the day to see positive results.

Salt
Sea salt is actually the best to put to rest all oral problems. Sea salt is mixed with honey to form a paste. This paste is then applied on a toothbrush to cleanse your teeth.
