Mannam Subramanya temple in North Paravur, Ernakulam is widely known for the unique Prasad ritual that it conducts and offers.

This deity here receives salt from the devotees to fulfill anything they wish for. If you have lost something like valuables, or documents, or something of value in your life, or if you have some skin or stomach disorders, you can just make a vow and offer salt here.

An icon of Hidumban who emerged from Lord Shiva is installed on the North western side of Nalambalam. The Murugan deity was established by Parashurama whose silver plated stone idol is erected beneath the banyan tree.
